Lockerbie Ice Rink are proud to have the new President of the RCCC in Matt Murdoch, who was appointed on 16 June 2008.

Congratulations Matt. You will have a couple of busy years ahead! We all wish you every success in your post.

So it's the close season now and the refurbishment programme is well under way.

We are replacing the ancient refrigeration plant, which has done remarkably well. The coolant and refrigerant have now gone. The lights in the ice hall have been replaced with better and more energy efficient systems. The office has been moved to allow space for disabled toilet upstairs, and a lift is being fitted.
